This novel Internet Explorer add-on shortens lengthy URLs to custom, easier-to-remember Web addresses, though it lacks some much-needed conveniences. StickyThis Toolbar for IE places an extra toolbar atop your browser window. It has a few too many steps for such simplistic functionality, but operating the program is easy. Simply copy the original URL and click the toolbar button. The program launches the publisher’s page and you can paste the original URL on the field provided and then instantly create a shorter name. StickyThis Toolbar for IE launches the saved page when you type the newly assigned name on the program’s address field on the bar. Sadly, this application lacks features to store “stickies” or to place shortcuts on the Favorites list, negating user-friendliness. Definitely nonessential software, this free tool is easy to use. However, you’ll do just fine sticking with your Favorites list.
StickyThis Toolbar allows users to create and use Stickies. It means StickyThis allows you to turn a hard to remember URL into something easy to remember.
