While the software only allows free account holders to protect one folder at a time, there are a number of other tools in place that are all accessible at the start; and for the most part, you can easily follow the prompts to get there.

Supporting toolsets: The interface is functional and works well in a modern Windows 7 and 8 layout, so accessing the additional tools the developers have provided for managing your folders and desktop privacy settings is fairly straightforward.

Usability concerns: While the interface looks and feels good for basic uses, such as locking down a folder, it can be cumbersome to find your way through if you’re trying to find a specific feature, and especially if you make a change and want to find the options you used to turn that change off. The tutorials and walkthroughs are sparing and the layout is focused on function rather than design.
